![]() ![]() This was likely a terrible mistake.ħ) Then did a reboot from the terminal in emergency mode,Ĩ) After a few more reboots, the fscheck stopped and there was no longer the emergency mode. ![]() It got errors, like above about a structure being damagedģ) There was a "kernal panic" with no working init found and it froze thereĤ) Unplugged the machine and plugged it back inĥ) It then would do a a disk check and enter into emergency modeĦ) I unplugged the machine and plugged it back in a few times here, once it had just a black screen. I forget exactly what, but maybe something about the structure being damaged?ġ) Did an apt update, there were 2 updates required and it worked fine. Doing various things with sudo resulted in an error. This same png image when viewed on the server from a web browser looked just fine and when downloaded form the browser, was the expected png image. For example a 100 kb png image could instead have what look like apache log files written to it in plain text when looked at in a hex editor. When downloading files or viewing files from FileZilla, some files had unexpected content but the same size length. I spent a ton of time creating an entertainment server out of it which can be publicly accessed. I have a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ with Buster and an external hard drive. An unfortunate chain of events has led to a catastrophe. ![]()
